Inexpensive Science Teaching Equipment
Project |
|
I want to thank Chris Johnson and Ron Bonnstetter, and
their colleagues at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln,
for putting the plans from our three books on Improvising
Science Teaching Equipment Worldwide (IS-2 Project) onto the
WWW. This should have been done by us earlier since we have
had so many requests for non-existing copies and for us to
do more reprinting. Loaning out our few copies for others to
copy has been a real problem. Since these books were written
at the request of USAID, NSF and UNESCO to make "hands-on"
science more available around the world, this website will
make this goal more easily attainable. We sincerly hope you
will find these plans practical for your use of low-cost
materials to get your science students into real laboratory
situations. Your reactions, and experiences, would be
appreciated. |
